Animal Dermatology & Allergy was founded in 1996 by Dr. Andrea Cannon.

Dr. Cannon graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 1993 and completed her residency in veterinary dermatology at Davis in 1995. She is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. After her residency, Dr. Cannon completed a fellowship in human dermatology at the University of Miami and then returned to the Sacramento area to pursue her love of clinical medicine. She opened her first practice in Modesto, Ca. which was followed by additional practices in Roseville/Sacramento and Boise, Idaho. In 2006, together with her husband Mike, she designed, constructed and opened Animal Dermatology & Allergy in Rocklin, Ca.  The Rocklin clinic serves as our main office with both Dr. Cannon and Dr. Stepnik serving as our medical staff.  Modesto, Fresno and Boise also serve as convenient additional locations for our clients. Our clinic enjoys the best veterinary staff in the country with our office manager, Denise, and our technicans Janessa and Jessica. Their level of service, knowledge and experience makes every client feel welcome and every pet special.
